Hayley Brackley is an inspiring storyteller and a fearless champion for Neurodiversity and Neurodivergence. From an early age, she faced challenges, often branded with comments like “Could do better if only she applied herself” and “Talks too much.” However, Hayley turned these adversities into a powerful voice, passionately speaking about growing up as one of the 20% in a world seemingly built for the majority.

In 2002, she became the first girl diagnosed with ADHD by her psychiatrist after enduring years of damaging anger management and cognitive-behavioural therapy sessions. Coupled with a Dyslexia diagnosis and an acceptance to Mensa, Hayley moved into the world of work. Initially, thriving in the adrenaline-fueled environment of the fire and rescue service, she then faced a mental breakdown in 2016, due to workplace bullying and a lack of neurodivergent support, highlighting the urgent need for inclusive environments.

Determined to overcome, Hayley trained as a therapist and coach, supporting neurodivergent clients to embrace their true potential as well as using her background in Learning and Development to bring about impactful and creative learning, educating workplaces on neurodiversity and neurodivergence.

Along her journey, she discovered she not only had ADHD but also autism, fuelling her commitment to empowering others. In her session, Hayley captivates audiences with authentic storytelling and inspiring genuine inclusion in the workplace.
