Virginia Mendez is a Spanish author, speaker, consultant, and entrepreneur living in Northern Ireland. She is the co-founder of The Feminist Shop, an award-winning ethical business dedicated to promoting feminism and challenging gender stereotypes.

With a background in Law and Business, and a Master’s in Leadership, Virginia spent over eight years in corporate roles, including positions at Deloitte and PwC, before fully dedicating herself to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.

For the past six years, Virginia has been working in EDI, delivering impactful training and consultancy to organisations of all sizes, as well as thought-provoking talks that inspire change. Her work empowers individuals and businesses to foster more inclusive environments by challenging biases and adopting practical, everyday strategies for equity.

As an author, she has written Childhood Unlimited: Parenting Beyond The Gender Bias, a book that helps parents navigate and dismantle gender stereotypes, as well as the bilingual children’s series Mika & Lolo. Passionate about education and advocacy, Virginia has directly worked with over 3,000 children and 2,000 adults through her engaging workshops and training sessions.

A dynamic communicator, Virginia brings warmth, humour, and deep expertise to every conversation, helping people and organisations move beyond theory into real, actionable change.
