Join DEI & Leadership Coach Tom Crawford as he shares his own experiences as a gay man at work and takes us through some key definitions related to the LGBTQ+ community.

We’re reminded that LGBTQ+ people never stop coming out at work, and what are some of the main challenges they can face.

Learners will explore concepts like intersectionality and how to be a better ally through practical tools and tips, including understanding pronouns, calling out inappropriate language and shaping supportive conversations with LGBTQ+ colleagues.

Meet the Expert​

 
Tom Crawford is the former Human Resources Director at Deloitte and Head of Internal Comms & Engagement at British Gas and O2. Now working as a consultant, his clients include Deloitte, Zurich, UBS, British Airways, Eon, GSK, Volvo Group, KPMG and AIG. Tom specialises in Employee Experience, Diversity and Inclusion and specifically the Culture Change element of D&I. Tom has developed LGBTQ+ Networks and Policies in global organisations, helping them to navigate the nuances of operating in different territories whilst remaining true to their values.​
